- SPROCKETS IN ALLOY STEEL & TEETH HARDENING
Sprockets are teeth like projections arranged on a wheel rim to engage the links of a chain. They engage chains in many different power transmission and conveyor systems. They are mainly made of cast iron, sintered metal, and carbon steel. Inserted sprockets are also designed to reduce noise and operation. The sprocket must be inspected once a month for wear and if the teeth are worn down or are broken they should be replaced. They are often an economic, reliable drive system for long running, continuous drive applications with maximum absorption of shock and minimum torque loads. The sprockets and the chain must be lubricated with chain lube such as bell ray. Sprockets are most commonly used in bicycles.

| American Standard Sprockets We are engaged in offering our clients with a quality range of American Standard Sprockets, which are highly demanded in diverse industries, our range is manufactured with quality material, and is highly appreciated for its quality, durability, performance and long functioning life. |
| We offer an extensive range of simplex Sprockets that are in great demand in the market for the extremely sharp teeth for accurate and quick cutting of tough material. These are manufactured with graded stainless steel, mild steel and cast iron that provide high tensile strength and efficiency.
The sprocket looks like a gear but has many engaging teeth while gears usually have one or two. There is basically no slippage in a sprocket. The chain changes the rotational power to pulling power and pulling power to rotational power, by engaging with the sprocket.
Our sprockets help in avoiding early elongation of chain. They minimize break downs and reduce the power consumption, resulting in high productivity. These are offered at reasonable rates.
Our specialized simplex sprockets can be efficiently used in varied industrial process. The simplex sprockets are available in a range of varying pitch as in inches, and in different length. They are made from steel, stainless steel and metal.
Common Applications - Sprockets are used in various applications of Cement Plants, Sugar Mills, Sponge Iron Plants Fertilizer plants, Thermal Power Station, Mineral Plants and other manufacturing industries. |
| We offer a comprehensive range of Duplex Sprockets that are in great demand in the market for their razor sharp teeth for accuracy in grip and clean cutting of tough material. These are manufactured with graded stainless steel, mild steel and cast iron that provide high tensile strength and efficiency to these duplex sprockets. They are heat resistant and can be used in high temperature conditions. They are available in different length pitches. Our duplex sprockets can be customized to suit customer specification. |

| A belt drive system and toothed idler sprocket having an accurate pitch is invaluable in significantly reducing noise. The toothed idler sprocket having a pitch sufficient to cause proper engagement between a belt and the sprocket at a minimal belt wrap angle is ideal for smooth functioning. Idler sprocket obtains proper chain tension when neither driving nor driven shaft is adjustable, and takes up slack chain developed through normal chain wear It guides chain around an obstruction at the same time preventing whipping action in the slack span of chain transmitting an uneven load A good idler sprocket brings about greater chain wrap around a small sprocket, particularly if it is the lower sprocket in a vertical drive and it provides for reversed direction of rotation of a sprocket in contact with the outside of the chain Idler sprockets should not rotate at greater speeds than are allowable for drive sprockets of the same size. They should be mounted in contact with the slack span of chain. It is advisable that idler sprockets have at least three teeth in mesh with the chain. Inside mounted idlers usually account for quieter operation, especially if centers are short and speed is moderately high. Material: Mild Steel, Cast Iron, Cast Steel, En-8/19/24/31/36 Our idler sprocket , like all our other products bear the stamp of highest degree of quality. Some of the salient features of the idler sprockets for which the product iswidely appreciated across globe are: -
Precision engineered -
Corrosion resistance -
Durability -
